Garret Van Horn Motel
Some notes on the motel, its owner, and a possible link to something called The Origin.
A motel located on the outskirts of a town called Potsdam, in upstate New York.
Built some time in the twentieth century, the motel never did great business, because of its poor location and its inferiority to other such amenities in the area. In 2019, the motel closed its doors as a going concern, but owner still lives there. Supposedly he is still trying to sell the place.
The owner's name is Vartan Boghossian. There are no pictures of him online but, from the sound of his voice, I'd guess he's maybe in his late-sixties, early-seventies.
I'm making this entry because I received several calls from the phone at motel on 1st July, 2020. I called back and spoke to Boghossian, but he claimed to have no knowledge of anyone calling me, and he said he was the only one there.
I dug around a bit on the hotel, and found some stuff in a chatroom about it having once been used by some kind of organisation/cult/whatever called The Origin. Need to look into this.
