The Kickstarter Trailer, and more...
Unveiling the trailer, an update on the site, and a first-look at the exclusive backer T-shirts.

We've been busy over the past couple of months putting the Crowley Kickstarter together. With a fair wind, that should launch at 12:00PM London-time on 1st May (tomorrow). As always, you can register here.
When the launch goes live, the Kickstarter trailer will appear. As Pleasant Green subscribers, we thought it only fair you get to check it out in advance:
We'll also be sending out an e-mail at time of launch to remind everyone. Department of Works subscribers, especially, should keep their eyes on their inboxes for a special deal on one of the reward tiers.
Speaking of subscriptions, we have been taking a look at what we charge, the tier system that we have in place, and the value we provide. The latter issue is of paramount importance to us.
To that end, we have decided to retire the Academic Subscription Tier. We'll be writing to those on that tier over the next couple of days with details of what they can do, and a special upgrade offer (so don't jump the gun!) In a nutshell, we've decided to provide everything that was part of that tier to free subscribers from now on, so existing Academics can either upgrade for more stuff, or else stop paying and they will continue to have the access they had before.
From here on, then, there will be just three tiers here:
- Cultist, which is a free subscription
- Investigator, which is charged at £6 per month/£66 per year.
- Department of Works, which is charged at £25 per month/£250 per year.
How those tiers will break down and what they will have access to is going to be the subject of a forthcoming letter, but now that the Kickstarter is (almost) ready to go, we've started to turn our attention to providing a lot more value to subscribers of all stripes here.
We've been digging through our files and notebooks and we'd like to start building an archive of our research material on here, for our own use as much as for you. It's unlikely to be a wiki, exactly, because this site doesn't quite allow for that yet, but we're going to start building something and see how interlinked we can make it.
We also have a new investigation to serialise, looking into a mysterious Cabal in Amsterdam that may turn out to have been behind a lot of the activities we have investigated over the past few years. (Speaking of serials, we're also working on a digital and physical book of the Saltmarsh story).
And we have a variety of "orphans"; strange reports and snippets that we have stumbled across and collected but that we have not yet had time to delve into. We're going to start posting these soon. We may even find, as we do, that they begin to connect up...
Rest assured, we have a lot of plans for this place once the Kickstarter is off our desks (or "desk" - Kennedy is currently bashing away on her laptop on the ratty old armchair in the corner).
Before I sign off, one last reveal... Artist Carl Pugh, who designed the key-art for the Crowley series, is also working on a T-shirt which will be available exclusively to Kickstarter backers from tomorrow. This is a work-in-progress still, but we love it, and wanted to give you a look as it stands right now:

That's it from us for now. More tomorrow...
Matthew.
